Brands r not important to me. High c/p & reliability r most important. For the HDMI cables I tested, here are my thoughts:

Audio:
VDH Ultimate - sounds warmer and thick
Monster - fairly average
萬隆 - sharp, fast & punchy
秋葉園 - extremely average
佰威 Silver - warmer & slower
佰威 purple - enjoyable
佰威 black - quite well balanced (personally feel this is the highest c/p, only ~ $12X

)

BJC & SAEC 1010 are 2 of the HDMI cables that I really like to test.

I dunno much about 香港代理 or 台灣代理 la. I think 萬隆 & 佰威 products are quite affordable anyway.

More importantly, I quite enjoy borrowing cables from other chings to compare their performance & characteristics. And writing reports on them. If any chings are willing to lend their cables to me, I am more than happy to compare them.

What I really like to do now is to add an extra pair of spkrs in the front. This will totally separate my AV with my 2ch. I am considering to add a pair of Dynas (same level as my Dyna center) on top of my Quads & toe down.
