I am an Amarra user. I have used the trial version of Audirvana Plus. It has better features and more useful settings than Amarra. I recently bought a DSD DAC and tried to play DSD files (both DSD64 and 128) with A+. It definitely deliver analogue and hi-fi quality sound.
As a generic audio player, however, it is still second to Amarra in terms of sound quality. May be it is just a matter of preference. Both software are excellent.
