在怒中燒之下 Email 香港代理, 問有冇得 Upgrade ... 佢地話要成部運翻美國再比錢做 Upgrade ...   ...估計 4 到 5 千 ....

心有不甘之下叫香港代理 Email 美國有冇好 D 方法 ... 經過來來往往 Email 之後終於決定自己解剖部 DAC 再寄件 parts 比佢地 Upgrade. 因為郵費平左好多. 價錢只要一半左右 ... 當然出事就後果自負 ...

Congratulations!!!   You set a good example how to save cost upgrading the clock only.   

I like the original upgrade by W4S.

It is replacing the clock with high quality femto clock which is pin compatibility .   No adding daughter board need. Just remove from circuit board and replace it by original w4s workmanship.

恭喜師兄upgrade了 Femto clock。

約三星期前，我也收到了已upgrade 的W4S DAC-2 DSD SE with Femto clock。多了DSD 64 / 128 及 384kHz，可玩性高。
聽感比Upgrade前的DAC2進步太多。音牆濶了深了，樂器的分離度大了，人聲自然，整體音樂感加強了。
經過幾星期的煲練，聲音䦕始更順滑。
真係講句：玩DAC梗係要玩可以upgrade既DAC，既環保又好聲 ^^

分析力高了, 聽多了, 人聲樂器聲像真了這些不足為奇...

奇就奇在任何歌都變好聽了 ... !! ... 包括本來錄音很差的歌 ... !! ... 連平時不可能播的歌都變好聽了 ... !!

這個 upgrade 值得大家做啊 ...

I like Wyred4Sound as they really listen to customer and our feedback and suggestion.  I had discussed with EJ Sarmento on a number things we could do to improve sound quality.  Femto Clock is one of the suggestions we discussed in Jan.  At that time, they tested a number Femto clocks and the improvement were not significant.  They promised keep trying. Later, they email us saying that one particular clock passed blind test and they will offer this option to customer.  

Another suggestion is about testing of I2S connection between Audiobyte Hydra-X and Wyred4Sound DAC2 DSD making sure it is optimized and supported.  I have then sent one Hydra-X to W4S and one DAC2 to Rockna Audio/Audiobyte.   So they have the equipment to test the combination.  Newly shipped DAC2 DSD and DAC2 DSD SE have updated firmware and optimized signal path to support DSD over I2S and tested with Hydra-X.  

W4S don't mind the trouble upgrade DAC for customer, if the customer don't mind the trouble sending it back to them.  They are not factory pushing products to market.  They are audio professionals committed to design excellent product with offer great services.  That make a big different.

That's what a contemporary company,  all the test should be completed by manufacture that's the responsibility of them, not like some ridiculous company by using valuable customer to test what they unknown.
